Check the engine code
This type of engine has been delivered with two different fuel injection systems. It's possible to use tuning with only one of the systems. It's only a few cars that cannot use tuning modules. To find out, you have to check the engine code. The code starts with 3 letters, for example 'BMN', followed by some numbers. If one of the letters is a 'P', your car cannot use tuning modules. The engine code is placed differently in different cars. On the photos, below you can see alternative placing of the engine code If you have problems locating the engine code, you are welcome to contact our custom service. If you by mistake order the wrong module, we will be only happy to change or take in return the module, even if you have mounted and tried the module.
Examples of where to find the engine code in VW, Seat, Skoda and Audi (may also be mention in the vehicle registration form):
Most common: inside the driver side door (on the short end):

On the doorframe (between the driver and passenger door):

On the back wall of the engine compartment (between the engine and the drivers compartment). To the left in the engine compartment.:
